HTC’s ‘Unique’ Tablet Teased

By MirchiMart on July 16, 2012

HTC is going to revamp its Tablet portfolio by introducing a new Unique Tablet which is currently under curtains. HTC is going to try something unique through their new tablet. HTC wants to gain some reputation in the Tablet market where Apple, Motorola, Samsung and Asus are big players. HTC already had burned coal in this Tablet fireplace when they launched HTC Jetstream and Flyer back last year but these didn’t even compete with the other Android Tablets and iPad.

In order to gain some space, HTC is coming back to Tablet market this year with some uniqueness. HTC spokesperson to PC Advisor stated that:

Although there’s no release date for this mystery tablet yet, we were told that the firm would wait until it had something unique to offer. HTC is developing the tablet and will make sure it has a unique selling point.

HTC is going to compete with Google Nexus 7, rumored iPad Mini and Kindle Fire 2 tablets.

HTC needs to put some extra effort to gain some space on the pie chart of Tablet distribution companies over the world. There’s nothing more from HTC’s side on the tablet. Pricing and other launching or announcement dates are still unknown. So guys what’s the screen size you want from this tablet?

Samsung Galaxy S III V/S HTC One X

By MirchiMart on June 11, 2012

Lots of people have many queries when they buy products so to ease out their work we compare Samsung Galaxy S III with HTC  One X. The two flagships have a lot in common – both run heavily customized ICS on quad-core CPUs and pack huge 720p displays. There’s more to these droids though – each tries to squeeze every drop of known technology. So lets begin with

Design:

HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III are nearly identical as far as Design is concerned. Samsung and HTC have always had two completely different approaches regarding the design of their handsets. Usually Samsung have never really paid attention to those expensive materials that can make your phone feel like a tank, the HTC have clearly been big fans of crafting devices that look better, and last longer. The dimensions of HTC One X is 134.4 x 69.9, while the Galaxy S III is just a bit bigger at 136.6 x 70.6mm. Handling of galaxy S III is better and smooth in comparison to HTC One X. HTC One X body is developed by using plastic and Galaxy S III comes with poly carbonate body. Both phones outer shield is deteriorating as according to reports. Samsung Galaxy S III is loosing its shine and Colour while HTC One X’s is getting out pulp of its fabricates.

Hardware:

Both the Phones HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III phones are beasts in respect of Hardware. These phones have best Hardware from devices which are running Android. Samsung Galaxy S III comes with Quad Core Exynos 4412 processor with cloaking at 1.4 GHZ with 1GB of RAM (Dual Core Processor in North America with 2 GB of RAM and Korea is the only country to get Quad Core Processor with 2 GB of RAM both). Coming onto HTC One X it is powered by 1.5 GHZ Tegra 3 SoC with 1 GB of RAM. HTC One x have only 32 GB variant while Galaxy S III have 16, 32 and 64 GB variants. Both the phones runs smoothly. According to AnTuTu And Nenmark Benchmark results HTC One X Scores are 11024 and 47,4 respectively. While eyeing on to Galaxy S III its scores 12016 and 58,6 respectively. HTC One X does not have microSD slot while Galaxy S III have it.

Software:

Samsung Galaxy S III runs on Android’s latest version Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and its User Interface is TouchWiz Nature UX. New Touchwiz is enhanced and beautified version of its older version. Now HTC One X also runs on Android 4.0 and its user interface is Sense 4.0 with differentiated and less cluttered interface.

Display:

Galaxy S III have 4.8″ HD Super AMOLED screen with 720px display resolution. Its display is best in saturation and contrast but is not eye catchy. HTC One X is using 4.7″ IPS LCD2 screen with same resolution as that of Samsung Galaxy S III. Screen of HTC One is superior than that of Galaxy S III. This could be the main reason which would drive customers away from Samsung Galaxy S III.

Camera:

Both HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III features 8 Megapixel camera with max resolution of 3264×2448 pixels for images. Both cameras are offering video recording of 1080p and 720p with image captures in between recording. During Video recording both beasts captures images of 6 megapixel stills in 16:9 aspect ratio. Samsung Galaxy S III offers 24 fps recording while HTC One X offers 29 fps recording. There are also rooting techniques by which you can improve your camera quality. Recently Modder named Hyper X released Superfine Mod which converts 24 fps video capturing of Samsung Galaxy S III into 30fps. Similarly HTC One X also have different Mod developed by mods to improve its functions but to improve them you need to root your device.

Overall Samsung Galaxy S III is the winner as it beats HTC One in hardware, design and display areas. Guys now its on you what’s your budget and for what you wanted to use it.
