We enjoyed a lovely family open house at Skidmore in Saratoga, NY this past weekend. The town is just great and Halloween and Fall decor were in full swing! However, nothing prepared me for the Mansion which is a stones throw from the Skidmore Campus, and their "Howlaweeen" Decor! Yes, I said Howl-aween, it's dedicated to the many dogs that reside in this palatial 20,000 square foot estate owned by the most well know Socialite in town. The family open this to the public on Halloween and they have food and treats galore for all who attend. The banner that is draped across the front of the home does bare the name of the owner's website in which animal lovers may either buy a book or donate to help build a 24 hour emergency animal clinic much needed in Saratoga.
