How to Use Cydia?

This guide will teach the basics of Cydia, the store for jailbroken devices. When you open Cydia, it will take you to a screen similar to the right. At the bottom is the navigation. It contains the home page, sections, changes, manage, and search.
Cydia- This is the home page. I will list the most important links "Featured" is a set of featured apps. "Themes" are Winterboard themes. "Cydia Store: Products" are the best paid apps in the store. (most apps are free). "Manage Account" is where you sign up for an account (you don't need one to get apps). Sections- This is like categories on the App Store. It has many categories including Add-ons, Themes, Games, Tweaks, System, etc. Changes- This is like updates on the App Store. It shows you the apps/tweaks that need to be updated. It's pretty simple to use.Manage- In "manage" there are three parts"Packages" are the items you downloaded from Cydia. From here you can reinstall, or remove applications."Sources" is the list of different website sources you have added. Some apps/tweaks are not already on the store. In order to get those you have to add sources. Check out my other post to learn how to add sources. "Storage" is the space of your device. I usally don't use it. Search- This is the search on the App Store (duh!). You can search different packages here.
