The lure of going around the west bend, meeting new people, and searching out uncharted lands is powerful and inviting. Wanderlust, some call it. Vacation, somebody said, is one of our precious freedoms. How true! Whatever form it takes – a quick visit to our next-door neighbor, a weekend mountain trek, surfing, hitting the beaches, experiencing festivities. You name it! It’s all in the Philippines. These are some tips on how to spend summer in the Philippines: 1.   The Beach!
During summer, the most famous destination here in the Philippines are the exotic beaches like the most well-known Boracay and Puerto Galera, probably among the tourist spots in the country. There’s also Panglao Island Beach Resort in Bohol and Dakak, Dapitan City in Southern Philippines. I can assure you’ll find lots of resorts where you, your family and your friends can have a wonderful time. 2.   Surfing
Summer? SUMMER means SURFING in Siargao Island. It is the most popular surfing destination here in the Philippines, with its magnificent and powerful gigantic waves where surfers love to dance in it with their surfboards. 3.   Exploring the City and It’s Neighboring Areas
If you’re in Manila and you don’t have plans to go somewhere for to spend your summer, don’t worry because there are many places within the city and around its neighborhood that you can visit. Want to go sightseeing? Check out Luneta and Intramuros. Have kids with you? Try enchanted kingdom and enjoy the rides! Or, enjoy the cool waters in Splash Island. You can also check out the Manila Ocean Park to enjoy its many underwater creatures. 4.   Festivals
Summertime is about to end, but the big bang excitement is about to explode at the most peaceful province of the South, the most awaited 9-day celebration of the” HUDYAKA ng ZANORTE.” Hudyaka is an old local dialect of Zamboanga del Norte which means “a great moment of merry-making.” So, pack up and treat yourself with a 9-day buffet of fun, food, relaxation, adventure, and a glimpse of Filipino Heritage from where Dr. Jose Rizal has been exiled for 4 years.    So there you have it guys!! You don’t need to knock yourself on the floor just to change the way you drive your thoughts. It’s more fun in the Philippines!!! Love this post? I am sure you do.
