How to Reconnect Apple Watch

Have difficulty pairing an Apple Watch with your iPhone or getting the Unable to Connect to Apple Watch error message on iPhone when trying to pair? Here is how to reconnect the Apple watch.

If you are experiencing difficulty reconnecting your Apple watch with your iPhone, simply unpair your devices, then pair again. If the problem persists, you might need to unpair your phone and pair the two devices again. This is one of the ways you can fix the connection between your Apple Watch and your iPhone.

To establish a connection, you need to ensure both devices have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled and are close within range. Next, try to restart your Apple Watch and iPhone. You might need to go an extra length and consider resetting your iPhone's network settings.

Ensure your settings on both devices is in check

Go to Settings on your Apple Watch and ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned on. Also, your phone too should not have its Bluetooth turned off. Please, note that if either of the devices is in Airplane Mode, pairing won’t be possible.

Restart your devices

Try restarting your iPhone, not necessarily the Apple Watch.

You should consider resetting your network settings. Open the Settings app, tap General and find Reset. Tap Reset Network Settings and enter your password to confirm your selection. You can then retry pairing the watch.
