Hello Gorgeous! Wouldn’t it be amazing if you didn’t have to worry about your face melting off in the sweltering heat? Well keep reading to learn the pro tips and tricks on how to melt-proof your makeup.

1. Wear Less Makeup: Start with a self-tanner; the subtle glow helps you eliminate so many products later. Just wait five minutes before applying your makeup. What is your favorite self-tanner?!

2. Stick With Creams or Powders: When getting ready in the morning use a cream blush over cream foundation, or powder over powder. But for touch-ups during the day, go with creams or gels–they’re easier to reapply without starting over. What is your favorite cream blush?!

3. Master Lasting Cheek Color: Richer tones last longer, so go for a darker shade and blend until it’s sheer. Press blotting paper on top to lift oils out, leaving pigment behind.

4. Make Eyeshadows Stay On: Shadows that have some sparkle won’t look “old” as fasts as matte shadows, which tend to crease thanks to the natural oils on your eyelids.

5. Switch to Gel or Liquid Liner: Most makeup pencils are made of wax, which melt in the heat. Opt for gel or liquid instead; makeup artist all agree both last longer. What’s your favorite liquid eyeliner?!

6. Don’t Forget About Your Brows: The simplest look for summer: strong brows with bright lips. Shape and fill in sparse spots with a tinted gel.

7. Know the Trick to Making Your Mascara Last: Use your regular mascara, then seal it with two coats of waterproof on top. When you remove it the waterproof formula is stuck to the regular mascara and not your eyelashes, making it easier to remove. What’s your favorite mascara?!

8. Skip Lip Gloss: A lip stain has staying power and doesn’t add greasiness. it stains the skin and will show through whatever you put on top. What’s your favorite lip stain?!
