If you want to bake Tasty, delicious and healthy oat bars reminiscent of muesli bars, then this quick and easy recipe is for you. Oatmeal bars are just perfect for a diet snack or a low-calorie tea dessert!
Ingredients:
- Oatmeal – 150 g.
- Honey – 3 tbsp
- Walnuts – 50 g
- Prunes – 50 g
- Water – 150 ml
Preparation:
Fold the prunes in a small bowl and cover with hot water for 15-20 minutes. Peel the nuts, fry in a dry frying pan, stirring constantly, until a pleasant aroma appears and cool.
After that, chop the nuts, drain the water from the prunes and cut them into small pieces. Fry the oatmeal for 5 minutes over medium heat in a dry frying pan, stirring occasionally with a spatula. Boil water in a separate saucepan.
In a bowl, combine oatmeal, nuts, dried fruits and pour in 50 ml of water, stirring after each time. You may need a little less water or a little more, the mass should turn out to be quite thick and viscous, but not dry. Melt honey in a water bath (if necessary) and add to oatmeal “dough” with nuts and dried fruits, mix. Line a baking sheet or baking dish with parchment paper and grease it with a thin layer of oil. Put the oatmeal mixture on oiled paper and smooth, the thickness should be about 2 cm. If the mass is not thick enough and spreads over the paper, add a little more oatmeal. Bake oat muesli for 20-30 minutes at 160°C until golden brown. After baking, remove the baking sheet, cut the muesli into square or rectangular slices and cool completely. Serve chilled oat bars with yogurt, milk or tea.
