Yesterday we showed you that Andy and his daughter from Family Gamer TV had discovered how to make a ‘portable PS4′ by using the remote play on the PS Vita and attaching it to a DualShock 4 controller. If you really want to tray that out, you might need some good instructions because getting the PS Vita to attach to the DualShock 4 is a little tricky. Thankfully, Andy is here with two videos to show you how.
Firstly, you’ll need to get the PS Vita attached, and to do this you should try using these handy Velcro straps that Andy found. You can pick these up from hobby stores and shops like that. Make sure your Vita is attached to the controller nice and tight; you don’t want it falling off!
If you can’t get hold of the Velcro straps, try and be a bit inventive! You could perhaps use rubber bands. Or use a coathanger, like WhupTroy from NeoGaff did when he saw Andy’s video. Check it out!
Then you’ll need to link the PS Vita to your PS4, but using a guest account too. If this sounds a bit tricky, just watch this second video and you can see just how easy it really is.
What do you think of this PS Vita/PS4 hack? Even Sony’s President of Worldwide Studios loved it, saying “Nice father daughter collaboration project
