How to Make a Fruit Smoothie in Five Minutes.

By Shegotherown @AddyGotHerOwn
Happy hump day everyone! It is right in the middle of the week and most of us are already stress down and can't wait for the weekend.Preparing for my post graduate applications has been taking it's toll on me and with the track training season back on, I am sure my stress is not going end soon. So, I decided to share with you all my one great power meal, mostly dinner after hard training meal.In case I haven't shared this with you I am a smoothie addict and as an athlete I drink them in all varieties and almost everyday. Here is a pictured details recipe of my simplest one that you can get done in less than 5 minutes.

Firstly, you need to take out your blender/food processor.Collect your materials, that is:Fruits of choice, plate, cups, knife, milk or any liquids of your choice, since that is the main part of your smoothie. You might want to choice from soya milk, Greek yoghurt, tea, nut milk or water. I personally fresh whole milk.

Now you have to peel off your fruits, remove the seeds if any,  and rinse the fruits afterall.

Then, you have to cut/ slice the fruits in small pieces inside the blender/food processor. If you want you might add some flavor to your smoothie like a vanilla essence or cinnamon.

Now is the point you add your chosen liquid.Taken it summer, if you are not a cold prone person, you can definitely add some ice cubes, 3 or 4 should be enough. If you want to skip the ice cubes like me, you can use frozen fruits or place them in the refrigerator for some minutes ahead.

Mix it all up, close the lid  and turn on the blender on to medium.Once the blender starts , turn it up one notch at a time to make sure everything is made smooth. If your blend have a smoothie function that's super awesome and easy. This should take at least 2 minute if there are ice cubes and 1 if there aren't.Then turn it off and your smoothie is done.

You can pour your meal in a cup and garnish it or just add some straws and bon appetit. This is always my energy refill after a hard workout on thee track and  I hope you like it.Thank you so much for reading.Kisses.
