How to get the crying filter on Snapchat
Before you can use the crying filter on your snaps, you have to open the app, go to the camera tab, and tap the emoji icon. This will show you the different filters, and you need to scroll to the last filter to see the Explore tab.
Tap on Explore to see the Explore page. You will find a search box above the page. Type “Crying” in the field and choose the first filter from the result. The first filter is from Snapchat itself.
Tap the filter, and it will take you back to the camera screen. Now, record your face and see the effect yourself on the camera screen.
From the Explore search result page, there are other crying filters you can try out. Those filters are made by other creators and are free to be used for snaps. However, the most commonly used for snaps is the one by Snapchat.
Please, note that you have to give the Snapchat app access to your device’s camera to record snaps and use filters. Else, the app won’t work effectively.
