Turning on iPhone “Classic Invert” can help you use a front flash. Here, we have explained how to get the front flash on TikTok.
To use a front flash on TikTok, you must enable the “Classic Invert”. This will allow you to make quality videos with your front camera.
What the “Classic Invert” feature does is reverse the display's colour while acting as a front flash. While reversing the colour, it ends up lightening up the figure in front of the camera.

When you make a video with the “Classic Invert”, you should remember to disable it when the recording has ended. As a result, you will be able to see how the video came out. Once enabled, the “Classic Invert” can be used to record TikTok videos using your iOS device's front camera, even from dark spots.
Below, we have explained how to get a front flash on TikTok.
How to Get Front Flash on TikTok
Grab your iPhone and launch the Settings app. Go to the Accessibility tab. Other options alongside Accessibility are the Airplane Mode, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, among others.
In the Accessibility settings tab, tap on “Vision”. The option comes alongside four more sections: Vision, Physical and Motor, Hearing and General. Next, tap on “Display & Text Size” below “Vision” to see the Display & Text Size settings.
Under the “Display & Text Size” settings, you can change text size, reduce transparency, and increase contrast. You will be able to find the “Classic Invert” option too.
Choose the “Classic Invert” option to enable it, and it will automatically reverse the colours of the display. This will allow it to act as a front flash.
After turning on the “Classic Invert”, launch the TikTok app and tap on the “+” create icon to make a new video. However, before recording a video, make sure you increase your phone brightness.
On the Create tab on TikTok, switch your camera to the front by tapping “Flip”. It is the first option from the top-right. Make a recording and apply effects or save it to your device.
Once you are done recording a video, turn off the “Classic Invert”. This will allow you to see how the video came out. Since the colours are reversed, you cannot see the result.
Again, launch your settings app and disable the “Classic Invert” under Display & Text Size. Afterwards, you can now post the video on TikTok.
However, before posting, ensure you preview it. You will realize that everything captured with the front camera looks brighter even in the dark.
If the video is up to satisfaction, you can proceed to post it on TikTok. Otherwise, you can make a new video using the “Classic Invert” again.
Conclusion
Although the iPhone does not come with a front flash, it lets you record with the front camera in a dark place using the “Classic Invert” option.
Interestingly, the “Classic Invert” acts as a flash, brightening up anything in front of the camera, even if the recording was made in the dark.
However, you can save yourself the stress of turning on and off the “Classic Invert” option by making your video in a lit room.
