Dry clothes with a towel

To avoid having to wait days to dry a garment, the towel method is definitely your ally. To do this, take your items out of your washing machine and then wrap them in a large clean and soft towel. A bath towel works just fine. Avoid putting too many items in the towel. Start with two or three garments and repeat the same operation for the other items.

Then press the towel firmly to help it dry. In this way, it will quickly dry the items by absorbing the remaining moisture they contain. Given the effectiveness of the method and its ease, it comes in handy when you have to dry your clothes indoors. If you feel that they are still not dry enough, you can blow the hair dryer, taking care not to bring the device too close to the article.

The radiator method : Another way to dry your clothes quickly is to take advantage of your radiator. Indeed, as it is often lit in winter, you can take this opportunity and hang your items next to the heating device. On the other hand, avoid hanging the directing linen on the radiator in order to avoid damaging your clothes or causing an incident.

The ideal is therefore to arrange your items on a hanger or a chair that you have installed next to the device. If you also want to dry a large quantity, just place the drying rack near the radiator.

The fan method : it’s not just in the summer that you can use the fan as this method proves. It simply involves running the appliance while you dry your items on the clothes line. So, by placing a small fan under the clothes, the drying process should take little time.

Other tips for better laundry drying indoors

Musty smells on clothes, traces of mold in the room…Drying clothes indoors is not without consequences. Here are some tips to follow, to make drying laundry easier:

Space the laundry on the drying rack: good air circulation allows to speed up the drying process on the drying rack. Spread out the laundry, taking care to leave a small space between each item of clothing. then turn items over after a few hours for even drying.

Do not overload the washing machine: a drum overloaded with clothes can impair the spin function. Laundry stays damp and therefore, its drying takes longer. Overloading the washing machine is one of the most common mistakes when we do laundry.
