So the deadline to submit self assessment for the tax year 2014-15 has passed like a breeze already, and we hope that everyone reading this blog have successfully completed their tax return filing without suffering penalties. According to HMRC statistics, more than 89 percent of taxpayers who submitted their self assessment by 31 January did so over the Internet. While some filed their tax returns through the official website of HMRC, others did it using popular apps specially designed for filing online tax return.
