Yesterday Angelo took me out for a walk. He brought me to this new place in Batangas City called Hot and Cold Cafe.
In my own opinion the place isn’t what it seems outside. Its amazing how it looks so minimalist outside but once you step inside you’ll be surprised to see how spacious it is.
The place has its dining areas for full dinning and couches for people like us that would like to chill for a while. There are also sets outside at the backyard for smokers. So pretty much there’s a place for everyone’s purpose.
First served was appetizer - Potato Wedges with unlimited dip ( well that was because I always ask for more LOL) @155Php per order.
Then came in the main meal… Super Wagyu Burger. It has Onion rings, Bacon, mayo and the wagyu beef patty that’s about an inch thick! looks small but its enough to make you feel full. (@667Php per order)
For the perfect counterpart a cup of hot and cold. His is Cafe Latte which perfectly tastes like hazelnut coffee. While mine is Iced Java Chip, iced blended coffee with tons of chocolate chip bits in a not so sweet coffee. Personally I would still love to sip on his cup. ;)
Iced or not its @155Php on all regular cups.
Finally his superb surprise came in. He knows how I’m such a fan of Nutella so he ordered this Nutella crepe with vanilla Ice cream on top. Whats inside is to die for because its so stuffed with Nutella.
The place is spacious enough to have conversations without having the next tables to hear what you’re up to. If I’ve got to rate this place it’s two thumbs up for Hot and Cold Cafe too for the services (5 stars). Budget would be about Php 1000 to 2000 for two.
After the date I hugged and thank him for the sweet thoughts. I really do appreciate efforts and surprises. :)
