Horn, Wait, Please! Mumbai Police Comes Up With The Unique Punishing Signal Concept

Posted on the 01 February 2020 by Malay Das

Mumbai Police has come up with a new concept of 'The punishing signal' where you have to wait more, if you horn more at the traffic signal.

In order to control the unnecessary honking at the traffic signals, Mumbai police have installed a decibel meter at selected traffic signals which receive heavy traffic. The decibel meter measures the honking sounds and automatically increases the waiting time if the level increases more then 85 decibels. Mumbai Police have also released a funny video on Twitter on January 31st, 2020, to promote this unique concept which educates people to horn sensibly.

Horn not okay, please!
