Honor V40 Series Will Not Come with Kirin 9000 Says Report

Honor V40 series is another upcoming flagship from the company that was ever owned by Huawei and recently hand over to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd. A well-known Chinese tipster named Digital Chat Station claimed that the upcoming V40 series will no longer have a kirin 9000 flagship chipset.


Earlier some reports suggest that the Honor V40 Pro+ will be powered by Kirin 9000 chipset while the V40 pro will feature MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor. But know Honor V40 pro+ will either sport Snapdragon 875 or upcoming MediaTek MT6893 chip that have performance Cortex A78 cores and recently some Geekbench listing suggests that it has comparable scores to Snapdragon 865.


Some other details have been revealed like the V40 Pro and V40 Pro+ both will feature a large 6.72 inches Full-HD+ curved display with 120Hz fast refresh rate along with Dual-punch-hole for the selfie camera. Both smartphones are tipped to come with the 50MP triple or quad camera and will also support 66W SuperCharge and 40W wireless charger as well.


However, the company hasn’t made anything official till now but the Honor V40 series is expecting to launch in December. The things become more clear as we move closer to the launch date.
