Honor Play 5 revealed in Home Town China as the new budget 5G smartphone. The smartphone is in rumours for one or two months and numerous leaks already tipped the overall specifications. The phone comes with an OLED display, MediaTek 5G chipset, quad rear camera, 66W fast charging support as well.

Honor Play 5 features a 6.53 inches OLED display with Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U octa-cores chipset coupled with Arm Mali G57 MC3 GPU. It is accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a quad rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the U shaped notch. The device is running on Android 11 with Magic UI 4.0.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 3800mah battery and supports 66W fast charging. For connectivity, the phone includes 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device also comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Honor Play 5 Price, and Availability
Honor Play 5 arrived in two configurations including 8GB + 128GB for 2,099 Yuan ( Rs. 23,850 approx ) and 8GB + 256GB is priced at 2,299 Yuan ( Rs. 26,100 approx ). The Play 5 is available in three color options namely gradient, purple, and black. The smartphone will go for sale for first time on May 26.
