Honeymooning in the Dordogne: a Taster

By Thehoneymoonproject @thehoneymoonpro

I’m currently traveling around the beautiful Dordogne region of France researching the new edition of The Rough Guide to France and thought I would share with you a few of the pictures that I’ve taken during my first five days away. The Dordogne is a really beautiful part of France; located in the southwest of the country, to the east of Bordeaux, it’s an area of winding rivers, lush green hills and valleys, and villages that are so pretty they’ll take your breath away. In short, it’s gorgeous – and just perfect for a honeymoon. I’ll be covering the region in more detail once I’m back from my trip, with specific ideas for where to go and what to do on honeymoon here, but in the meantime, here’s a little teaser from my Instagram feed.
