Honda is the only two-wheeler company in the Indian market, with models under Rs 1 lakh as well as two-wheelers priced above Rs 30 lakh. Starting from commuter bikes, scooters, the Japanese company sells several high performance motorcycles in the country. Honda is going to bring a model in India very soon called Honda CB650R. The new version of the bike has been teased on the company's social media channels.
The 2025 Honda CB650R is likely to be unveiled at the India Mobility Expo event. But the price announcement and official launch is expected sometime later. This naked street bike comes with several updates compared to its predecessor. While the overall design is similar to the previous model, the headlamp is slightly different. Tank extensions look like air intakes.
The tank section of the new Honda CB650R is now sharper. The company has equipped the bike with a new five-inch color TFT screen that displays more data to the rider than before and supports smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. And undoubtedly the biggest attraction of the latest model is the new e-clutch system that takes care of the gear-shifting process.
This Honda bike uses a 649 cc inline four cylinder engine for high performance. It is capable of producing 94 bhp of power and 62.3 Nm of torque. The engine is linked to a six speed gearbox. Honda has upgraded the bike's suspension setup for improved damping and a comfortable ride. It may be noted that the price of CB650R was Rs 9.15 lakh before the sale was stopped in India.
