Homemade Chicken Noodle Recipe.

i thought i'd share this recipe with you since it's so simple!
- 4.5lb roasting chicken- better than bouillon chicken paste- celery- sweet onion- carrots- egg noodles
first, rinse the chicken and take out the package of the heart and neck (i throw mine out since i have no use for it). once the chicken it rinsed off, place in a large pot and fill with water until the chicken is fully covered. put pot with chicken on burner and turn on high. bring the water to a boil, and boil the chicken for approximately 5 mintues. scoop off foam, then turn the stove down to low and let the chicken cook for 45 minutes. i do this so that the chicken doesn't become tough. after the chicken has cooked, pull the pot off the burner, place the chicken in a bowl in a fridge to cool off. keep broth as this is what it used for the soup. cut up 4 to 5 stalks of celery and the same amount of carrots. chop up 1/4 of onion into small pieces. place the veggies in the pot of broth with 3 tablespoons of the better than bouillon and place back on the burner and bring to a boil, then allow it to simmer for 15 minutes. once the chicken has cooled off, take off skin and throw out. then pull the meat apart into small pieces and place into the pot with the veggies and broth. bring everything to a boil, and then simmer again for 10 minutes. the last thing you have to do is cook the noodle according to the directions on the packet. and there you have it, homemade chicken noodle soup! enjoy :)
