Welcome to my apartment! I hope you love it as much as I do!
I didn’t have a lot of decorating freedom when I lived at home or in my sorority house, so I was beyond excited to finally decorate my own space! When I first moved in, I felt really overwhelmed on where to even begin but I knew I wanted my apartment to feel like a giant pink slumber party. My mom helped me decorate and her first major piece of advice was to find all of my big furniture pieces first before purchasing anything individually. Some people are really good at mixing and matching different pieces at different times in their lives, but that’s just not my thing. My momalso advised me to take my time decorating and not just buy “crap” to fill up the space. It took nearly a year to get my apartment to a point I was really happy with.
Most of the furniture in my apartment is Z Gallerie. They happened to have a big sale the weekend I was moving in and I love their modern vibe, so that was very lucky timing. I’m also obsessed with Swoozies and Anthropologie for homey touches. I can seriously never leave either store without bags of stuff!

I tried to link everything above but please leave a comment on this post or shoot me an email at brookedujour@gmail.com if you have a question about a piece!
