Hollerado is currently on a cross Canada tour promoting their third studio album 'Born Yesterday'. The 4-piece indie rock group from Manotick released this album in April and wasted no time getting out on the road. This show was supposed to be one of the last at the popular club Zaphod's in the market, however, it was such a hot ticket that it had to be moved to the more spacious Bronson Centre.

The night was kicked off with performances by Everett Bird and PS. I Love you. Both bands pumped up the crowd with their rock anthems and major guitar shredding skills. You could feel the energy in the room pick up as Hollerado took the stage. Tonight they opened the show with their infectious single 'Greif Money'. The crowd was instantly fired up, and why not, it's almost impossible not to dance and sing along to this upbeat crowd pleaser. They followed that up with the song that shot them into popularity 'Americanarama', and it did not disappoint!

This talented Canadian band kept the crowd rocking as they played a mix of pop-alternative songs off of the new album like 'I got you' and 'Eloise', written about lead singer Menno Versteeg's niece.

There was an unexpected break in the show when a fan went into distress for let's say being "overexcited". The band and venue were quick to respond and all was well. The fan will be fine and the show continued right where they left off. Without missing a beat Hollerado jumped back on stage and carried on after a friendly warning about staying safe.

Everyone was back up and on their feet dancing and singing along to the upbeat feel good song 'Born Yesterday' followed by the immensely popular 'Juliette'. It was so loud in there that Menno turned his mic around and let the fans take over singing the chorus. The entire show felt like a huge party and Menno even said "it was the most fun he's had playing in Ottawa".

The fun wasn't done there; to finish the night off Menno gave up his guitar duties to an enthusiastic fan. The fan was pulled from the crowd, handed the guitar and rocked out with the rest of the band! What an experience, one I'm sure he'll remember for a long time. After a show like that I'm sure it won't be long before the guys in Hollerado are craving a little more hometown love and we see them back on stage in Ottawa again soon!
