As I MAY have mentioned once or twice in the last week or so, we are heading off to our holiday in the Lake District tomorrow morning! Hurrah. However, this does mean that there probably won’t be any new blog posts here until I return in a fortnight’s time no doubt brimming over with news about the progress of From Whitechapel, photos of weird stuff and tales of our visits to Edinburgh, Alnwick and God only knows where else.
I suspect I’m going to feel somewhat bereft without my blog but then again I really need some time off and away from the internet and all its tiresome mimsy and weirdness. I won’t be entirely cut off though so expect the usual ramblings on Twitter and self indulgent softly focussed photos on Instagram while I’m away – only of more interesting things, presumably or so I would hope.
I’ll be thinking of you all though. Not in a creepy way but in a mindful ‘Ooh, I’d better take a photo of this for my readers’ sort of way, which is much less awkward for both of us, isn’t it.
Hope you all have an excellent two weeks of sunshine, fun and polite iniquity and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do etc.
Cheerio!
