This is a cursed election.
Yesterday, August 9, Hillary Clinton’s campaign launched an online campaign, “Together for America,” seeking Republicans and independent voters who are disaffected with Donald Trump to join her.
But if there’s truth in labeling, her campaign should really be called “Together for Hillary” because, by her actions, Hillary Clinton has demonstrated she is not for America but is only for herself.
The “Together for America Hillary” campaign website says:
Hillary Clinton understands the complex and volatile world we live in, and she has the temperament to be president and Commander-in-Chief.
Donald Trump does not.
That’s why so many Republicans and independents are putting country over party and supporting Hillary for president.
Together for America includes respected leaders in the fields of business, national security, foreign and economic policy, academia, entertainment, civil society, and politics and government.
Add your name if you agree: We are stronger together.
Below that are boxes for people to type in their names and addresses.

To think that the above 46 élites actually think this ↓ doddering, sick woman should be President….
But it’s not just Republican élites who are disaffected with Trump. A new Reuters/Ipsos poll released yesterday shows that one-fifth or 19% of registered Republicans want Trump to drop out of the 2016 presidential race, further reflecting the deep divisions within the GOP over his candidacy.
Trump isn’t helping matters with his latest intemperate remark at a rally in North Carolina on Tuesday, seemingly encouraging gun-owners to assassinate Hillary. Trump said that if Hillary wins the White House, she would be able to appoint liberal justices to the Supreme Court and there’s nothing anyone can do about that, except “Second Amendment people”. This is what he said:
“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment. By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But I’ll tell you what, that will be a horrible day.”
