Verdict on High Heat

High Heat is an action comedy following a restaurant owner who must return to her former life to defend her business from a mobster. It follows her needing to face waves of enemies and explain her true identity to her husband, who has left them in debt.

This is a fun action comedy that gets to lean more into the comedy of the situation. The idea that a mobster meets their match against a threat they didn’t know about shows them getting desperate. While the supporting characters bring added laughs. When it comes to the action, it all feels pretty safe but does use some of the kitchen environment for added impact.

Final ThoughtsHigh Heat is a fun little action comedy.
