High Five for Insta Friday

(one)Spring has arrived in my neck of the woods.  If it snows again, I might die... There is a distinct change in mood around the city. People are smiling.  They have energy again.  Cabin fever set it pretty hard, and I think we all just want to get outside. I am giddy about yard work.  And the thought of standing in the warm sunshine practically brings tears of joy to my eyes. Yay, Spring!

(two)Do you know who else had cabin fever? Mr. Sheldon. Yesterday morning, he escaped as we were leaving for work -- bolted right out the door. We were worried sick.  We drove around the neighborhood, called animal control, I even tweeted my city.  I don't even want to know what I would act like if a lost a human baby.  Call the cray police. We found him several times.  He wouldn't listen or come to us, and just ran in the opposite direction. And with my broken big toe, I am in no shape to be chasing after that little jerk.   Anyway, nearly 4 hours later - I get a call from a nice man who asks if was am missing a dog. I contemplated saying "NOPE - Keep HIM!  Enjoy his shenanigans."But instead I said "Oh thank goodness, I can come pick him up right away.  Thank you so much." Like a good fur baby mama. He then proceeded to nap the entire day because he got the best workout of his life.

(three :: four :: five)Other than that, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. It's become one my absolute favorite places to be.

How was your week?Is it Spring where you live?
