Thoughts on Hide and Seek
Thoughts – Hide and Seek is a crime thriller horror that will see the man searching for answers about what happened to his brother, only to learn of a squatter network within a building, that holds darker secrets than he is prepared to understand. This will dive into the keeping us guessing world, as we are caught in between worlds of what is going on, making us want to learn more about this underworld, while not giving too much away along the way. The mystery comes around who this mysterious figure is, as the obsession about learning the truth is back in place. We could easily have had a deeper entry into the squatter world, which would have made us want to know more about the world, rather than just dipping the toes in. the performances are solid enough, with Jonathan Rhys Meyers showing us a man on the edge, even if the rest of the characters are played into the typical roles you would expect. This will keep you entertained for the short runtime, even if you might feel like you want might.
Final Thoughts – Hide and Seek is an interesting mystery that will offer us a twisted world to enter.
