Hey, Hidey, Ho

By Nookandsea @KristinaMGulino

My friends! Sorry for the crazy long absence! Something was up with my web hosting, but now all is well and we’re back in the game! My mind has been spinning and I’m so thankful to have this space up and running again so I can reconnect with all of you ; )

First things first – I received my Jamberry’s in the mail today and am absolutely itching to try them out. If you aren’t familiar, Jamberry’s are heat-based nail wraps that come in an array of cute patterns and designs (like this, this, or this). I went with Twilight Blossoms, and from the trial run I did a few months back, they should last about 2-3 weeks (without waiting for drying time and dealing with the chipping you get with standard mani’s) * yay *

Secondly, it’s been annoyingly chilly in the mornings (as in, waking up and seeing the temp at 62 degrees IN YOUR HOUSE – brrrrr), so I’m finding myself with limited all-day appropriate accessory options to keep me warm in the office (so I still look socially acceptable if it happens to turn 90 degrees in the middle of the day, which, in Southern California, is not unusual). Solution: turban headbands, which also do the dual duty of hiding greasy roots! I ordered this one off Etsy – keeping your ears cozy has never looked better.

PS – Should I bring my nose piercing back? Am I getting off topic?

Next.

Then, there’s Brickyard Buffalo, the deal site which I’ve been rather keen to check every. single. day. They offer a handful of juicy limited-time-only sales, and the prices are amazingly budget friendly (some recent specials I saw even started at $3.99)! I’ve been eyeballing this darling necklace for a few days – if you want to snag it yourself, there’s only two days left to get the deal (don’t worry – if you happen to miss it, check out the necklace at the Mia Earrings Etsy shop).

I’m getting a huge urge to extend my Christmas list.

What have you all been up to?

Be back soon.
