Hero MotoCorp is about to launch a new series of electric scooters. The company has recently filed a patent for this. Reportedly, these scooters are – Vida VX2, VX2 Pro and VX2 Plus. Company Electric Two Wheeler Manufacturing Branch or Brand is Vida. Currently, Hero sells several scooters under this brand. The company has started preparing to add a few more variants to that lineup.
The Hero Vida VX2 range of electric scooters is coming
Hero unveiled the Vida Z electric scooter at the Milan Motorcycle Show last year. It was brought in keeping the European market in mind. The scooter has multiple battery options – 2.2 kWh and 4.4 kWh. Has advanced power magnet motor. However, it is not yet clear whether this scooter or two-wheeler with these features will be launched under the VX2 badge in the Indian market.
Speculation, since the patent has been submitted, this scooter can be seen in the country's market in the coming days. Incidentally, apart from scooters, Hero is preparing to bring electric adventure motorcycles under the Vida brand. It could be launched by the end of 2025. It was known long ago that they had plans. Because the company unveiled two electric adventure motorcycles in November last year.
A Lynx, and an Acro. Both are designed for two types of buyers. While the Lynx was designed with the needs and preferences of adults in mind, the Acro prioritized the preferences of younger buyers. It remains to be seen when these bikes will enter the Indian market. Besides, Hero MotoCorp has not revealed any information regarding the range, battery capacity and features yet.
