The Hero Destiny 125 has been on sale in India for six long years. All the updates the scooter has received over the years are based on the first generation model. But today Destiny has launched Hero in a whole new avatar. The look has completely changed in the new version. It has received such a makeover that it has nothing to do with the previous design. The second generation Hero Destini 125 has been unveiled but the price has not been announced yet. But the prices are expected to be revealed before October arrives.

The new Hero Destiny 125 comes in two trims. The first is the cast drum, which includes the VX variant. And the second one is called cast disk. It is again available in ZX and ZX+ variants. The base trim comes in Eternal White, Regal Black and Groovy Red color schemes.

On the other hand, the high-end ZX and ZX+ trims will be available in two Mystic Magenta (Pink), Cosmic Blue, Eternal White and Regal Black paint options. These two variants will also get copper-toned chrome highlights on various parts of the scooter.

The new Hero Destiny 125 has undergone major changes in the styling department. The company has decided to give the scooter a different look with a new design language. Upmarket and premium fill will be found in it. The front gets new LED headlights and projector lamps. English H-shaped new LED DRLs and taillamps will be found.

2024 Hero Destiny 125 has grown in size. It now offers the longest seat (785 mm) in the segment. The wheelbase has increased by 57 mm to 1302 mm. Underseat storage is 19 liters and fuel tank capacity is 5 liters. Talking about features, the base variant gets projector LED headlamps, DRLs, Type-A charging port, analog instrument cluster with a small LCD inset and boot lamps.

On the other hand, the Hero Destini 125 ZX and ZX+ variants get dual front disc brakes, digital speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, 5-step brightness control for the display, Hero i3s start/stop technology, auto canceling indicator, and X- Got backrest with Tec branding.

The performance of the new Destiny is unchanged. It carries over the 124.6cc air-cooled engine from the previous model, generating 9 bhp and 10.4 Nm of torque. The company claims that the updated model will deliver a mileage of 59 km/litre. Currently, the price of the Destiny 125 starts at Rs 76,088 (ex-showroom). The price of the second generation model is expected to increase slightly.
