Well, it looks like PUBG Corp has finally heard the cries of the Indian gaming community. This is because the game developer is finally taking action to bring PUBG Mobile back to India.
Recently, the creator of PUBG Mobile released a official statement addressing the ban and confirmed that they will take all publishing responsibilities for PUBG Mobile from Tencent Games.
According to the statement, PUBG Corporation fully agrees with the measures taken by the Indian government. Indeed, for the company, the safety of the players is also a top priority. Additionally, the developer also confirmed that they are working hand in hand with the Indian government to bring PUBG Mobile back to India.
Interestingly, to comply with Indian laws and regulations, PUBG Corporation decided to take back all publishing rights from PUBG Mobile in India.
"In light of recent developments, PUBG Corporation has made the decision to no longer license the PUBG MOBILE franchise to Tencent Games in India. Going forward, PUBG Corporation will assume all publishing responsibilities in the country ". PUBG Corporation said.
By doing this, PUBG Corporation wants to ensure a localized and healthy gaming environment for its fans in India.
Additionally, in addition to releasing regular updates for the game, the Korean developer is also committed to hosting local eSports events to engage with the Indian gaming community.
