Helping Santa

I felt like a hero this morning, walking to the other side of the city to do Christmas shopping despite the raging headache I was experiencing as a result of dancing late in the Lost Society last night. I know this is about the seventh post about Christmas in one month but this Christmas feels a bit more special than the last couple, since our whole family will be together again for the first time in three years.

I was so excited about this year’s Christmas flea market in Smithfield. They set it up only for three days and today was the last one. I saw such great things in there, I especially enjoyed the old furniture and the hand made jewelry. Surprisingly, I ended up buying very little but that was only because I couldn’t find the right things for the people i was buying presents for. Later on it started to rain (there’s another surprise there) so I decided to finish the shopping indoors. Here’s some of the things i bought:

These handmade soaps smell as good as they look. The selection was so wide it was hard to pick the favorite colors. Made by Baressential

This cute creature can be warmed in a microwave. I hope my nephew will love it as much as I do.

Irish tea cakes

No one wears this color better than my sister.

I adore that purse, it will look great with the matching nail polish.

What to buy for your sister’s boyfriend whom you’ve met only a few times? Apparently this!

This will be a present for all of us.

I happened to see this amazing dress on my way back home and somehow convinced myself that I very much needed a new dress to wear at work’s Christmas party on Thursday.
