Wandering round the rain-sodden, wind-blasted garden, it’s a delight to see how much is happening. Plants don’t listen to weather forecasts – they just get on with it. I haven’t got round to removing last year’s hellebore leaves as yet (my task for the next dry day) but there are buds aplenty and even a flower or two. Very cheering.
