Slipknot chooses to host its Knotverse on Sandbox
As mentioned earlier, the Sandbox team will work closely with Slipknot to improve these “lands” in their digital ecosystem. Another artist who is currently partnering with Sandbox is Snoop Dogg. He has a mass of land where he intends to host metaverse concerts.
Slipknot lately stated that they “listen, watch and go where their fans lead them.” This change and movement towards the metaverse has attracted the attention of groups. In addition, they aim to interact with their fans and build closer relationships. They feel that creating Knotverse in Sandbox is the best way to do this.
The future of the metaverse festivals and concerts is fully interactive. The big event that comes to mind is when Marshmello performed a virtual concert during the Fortnite World Cup.
