Natalie & Adams Summer Wedding

Natalie and Adam chose the Heart of England as their wedding venue, located in Coventry with a massive 160 acres of rolling fields. I met Natalie a few years back when she was a bridesmaid at another brilliant wedding for her friend Grace. These pair are an absolute hoot! I knew it would be a good day with Natalie anyway, the viral Facebook lass and once it came round I soon found out that Adam’s quite the character too. Although the joker he’s still got a soft spot. One of Adams pre-ceremony gifts to Natalie was a few words on a DVD that she could watch beforehand, a nice touch I thought. It certainly made the bridesmaids and Natalie’s mum get all emotional.

I started with the lads as I normally do on most full day wedding coverages. The lads were all in fine spirits – probably left over in them from the previous night. A good bunch they were.  All eager to please the camera with Adam perfecting his blue steel face pose. Once finished with the lads it was off to see the ladies who all looked stunning. It’s a shame I didn’t get a cuddle with Coco, their super gorgeous French Bulldog. She was on her jollies in a doggy hotel for the night.

The wedding ceremony was at St Giles Church in Exhall. The bridesmaids arrived in style. Transport provided by Harringtons Vintage Coaches. I’ve worked with them on several weddings, such a great way to travel. Natalie arrived by horse and carriage with her father David. Once the all important “I Do’s” were done Natalie and Adam then had Doves to release which literally scraped my head as they flew over. Could have been worst I guess.

Once we arrived at the Heart of England the wedding guests were greeted by staff with pimms to hand. The newlyweds arrived shortly after by horse and carriage where I whipped them off for a short set of portraits.  The wedding guests enjoyed drinks out on the terrace as the weather was on our side. The wedding breakfast room looked beautiful. The flowers, the decor. Everything had been thought out so well. Once the wedding breakfast was over we made use of the surrounding areas for some fun shots of the bridal party then it was onto the evening party. The room looked amazing, great lighting and the best part was yet to come. The hogroast! Which of course was fantastic.

All in all and blooming great day. I knew it would be.
