Who is guilty of skipping the breakfast? I can hear my own voice shouting from the rooftop of a tall building. As much ever as I promise myself to have a breakfast and cut down on the habit of bed tea, I break it selflessly without much thinking. But I make sure Little A has a good filling (and healthy) breakfast every day because he needs it. From where will that energy to jump around the house come?
Ever since I made these oats crepes, my family is in love with them.Oats are anyways an excellent source of nutrition and are adviced to include in our daily diet for all the benefits we derive from them. These are amazing. Healthy and delicious honestly, if I may say so. Any crepe you prepare are nourishing but what you choose to put in the making is what makes them healthy or not. You can combine them with any filling you wish – bananas, strawberries, amlond butter, cream; just explore the varieties in your kitchen.
Ingredients:
Rolled Oats – 1 cup
Egg – 1
Milk – 1/2 cup
Butter – 2 tsp
Method -
Ground oats to flour. In a bowl break an egg and whisk it. Add oats flour and milk slowly till you get a spreading consistency. Mix everything well. Heat a small amout of butter in a non-stick pan. Pour a thin layer of oats mixture and let it cook on medium heat. Flip over to cook on the other side. Remove on the serving plate and serve with any filling you like or simply with honey. I generally like to serve them with peanut butter, banana cream or honey.
