Me: "Ky, can you please pick up the hair ties for me?" I knew full well that I had misspoken.
Ky: "Mom, it's just ONE hair tie. You said 'hair ties.' That's not right. You should have said 'pick up the hair tie.'"
Me: "Why yes, Ky, you are absolutely right. I apologize for the mistake."
Is it bad that I am incredibly proud of my son for pointing out my grammatical error?
