Jollibee once again surprised us with some new pie variants - BREAKFAST PIES to be exact. They currently offer Cheesy Bacon Pie and Cheesy Corned Beef Pie priced at Php 49/each.
I wasn't able to get my hands on these during its launch yesterday (November 4) because it was a crazy day. Jollibee had a promo where they gave away free pies from 9 AM to 9:30 AM. Since it's only available at breakfast and there were several people, I decided to avail it the next day.
And here it is!
Cheesy Bacon Pie and Cheesy Corned Beef Pie
My abuelita went to church earlier today. Before going home, she and my tiyo had breakfast at Jollibee and brought me home some pancakes, chocolate and of course, Jollibee's new offerings.
The question now is, how was it?
I love the idea! Fast-food chains like Jollibee do open early. With all this traffic, people will try to wake up earlier. Since we are Filipinos, breakfast is essential to us. Jollibee has rice but now they also have these on-the-go breakfast pies!
I also love how big these pies are; however, the taste needs to improve. I really do not like the Cheesy Bacon Pie. The consistency is confusing - it's quite soupy and not so bacon-y. I prefer the Cheesy Corned Beef Pie over this. Although I wish there was more corned beef in there.
But in all honesty, I still prefer their Tuna Pie and Peach Mango Pie. How I wish these two as big as the breakfast pie. I'm willing to pay Php 49/each for the Tuna Pie and Peach Mango Pie if they upgrade the size.

Cookies 'n Cream Sundae Twirl!
I know what you're thinking. Yes, it does remind me of McFlurry but this more like a DIY. They didn't mix the Oreo. The crushed Oreo cookies are just settled on top of the thick and creamy vanilla soft serve coated with white chocolate. Plus, there is a whole Oreo cookie on top. This sundae twirl costs only P39!
I truly enjoyed this one. It's a simple ice cream which everyone will appreciate especially since the weather is leaning towards summer again.
