Have You Got a Min Min?

By Prettyandtasty1 @prettyandtasty
Just went for lunch today at Min Min Noodle Bar located on Bromsgrove Street (behind Arcadian Car Park) .. You can't really miss it as the exterior & interior is featured with Lime green window panels and walls. Min Min's menu is inspired by the influence of Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Japanese cuisines. I've been here on many occasions since it opened but i decided to blog about today's' visit =) Here it goes..
Drinks: freshly made soya milk & honey and lemon.

Starters: Vietnamese steamed cheung fun (£3.80) - shallots, wood ear mushrooms, carrots, prawns and pork wrapped in steamed rice pancakes.
This is one of my favorite dishes, usually eaten as a starter as it can become really filling, it tastes great with shredded carrots & turnip with a vinegar chilli sauce.

Tempura prawn mix (£6.00): fried in tempura batter and served with wasabi mayonnaise. These are yummy! The batter is really crispy and not too oily, the wasabi mayonnaise gives it a unique flavor. Defo recommend to give this a try!

Mains: Japanese style soup noodles.
Tempura king prawns ramen (£6.80) served with a pork rib broth made freshly on the day, in addition to this there is also seaweed, bamboo shoots, sweetcorn, wood ear mushrooms and sesame. The tempura prawns is served in an additional plate to ensure they are nice and crispy. The prawns also come with a sweet sauce which adds flavour, yummy :)
Roast char sui ramen (£6.80) served with a pork rib broth made freshly on the day, in addition to this there is also seaweed, bamboo shoots, sweetcorn, wood ear mushrooms and sesame. My guest had said this tasted nice and fresh, and very filling as the portion sizes are generous!

I rate Min Min 8/10 on this occasion, I'm still full from this meal as I'm currently typing.. Defo recommend you to visit for lunch or dinner. Oh, I forgot to mention you also receive a complimentary soya bean dessert (tofu fa) which is made fresh everyday; give it a try if you haven't! Overall, it's not pricey at all. :o) how cute is that moped?
Just found some pics laying in my photo album so thought I'll repost some -
