Helena & Henry’s wedding at Hargate Hall a few weeks ago was just super. Super Amazing, Super Fun, Super Gorgeous & Super Funny. Their wedding venue was absolutely gorgeous – tucked away in the Peak District – it was just the cutest collection of holiday rooms in a converted old manor house. Their little DIY touches were just exceptional – I am not sure what I loved more – the cranes (that beautiful paper!) or the little faux Polaroid seating pictures on the tables. Helena wore a stunning gossamer dress with fantastic sequin embellishments. However, my absolute favorite bit of the day was during the ceremony when Henry followed the registrar’s words a little TOO exactly and ended up pronouncing Helena’s name wrong. That is a moment he will never, ever forget (little tip….a good reminder once a year around anniversary time should result in extra nice pressies). It is the little moments like those – the unexpected, unplanned funny little bits that really make a wedding day spectacular.
PS- you will have to forgive me, but I really do love a good wedding selfie and there were so many great ones – I couldn’t pick my favorite.
