Happy Mondays #6

By Sarahhhp @SarahhhP

Back in March, I applied to do my Masters degree. Having already spent three years living/studying in Liverpool, the sensible option probably would have been to return - it's a place that I'm familiar with and it's also home to some of the lovely friends I met whilst at uni there. However, I'd not had the best twelve months previous to applying and along with this option, I also felt the need to give myself the choice of doing something new and exciting with the chance of a fresh start. So, on what was a bit of a whim at the time I also applied to study in London.
Four months later, and after a lot of umming and ahhing about what to do, lengthy job hunts and careful budgeting - I am very happy to say, that come September I will be joining the hustle and bustle of city life down south :) I'm still feeling a little bit nervous about such a big move. Anyone who knows me will tell you, that despite wanting to spread my wings I am somewhat of a home-bird. However, my overriding feeling now is of excitement, helped along by the fact that I'm being joined by one of my best friends from school who is also going down there to study for his MA. It's all worked out pretty perfectly really!
Anyway, that's the news I've been waiting to share with you all. It's not that exciting really, but it will mean some big changes. In fact, one of the main things that has made me happy and that I've enjoyed doing this week, has been browsing the web for some lovely little homely bits to help me settle in and get my place looking lovely when I arrive. I thought I'd include a little selection of my favourites below :)
Tumbler - Zara HomeRose lights - Laura Ashley"I Want To Have Adventures With You" Print - Urban OutfittersDressing Table - Not On The HighstreetPug Cushion Cover - Urban Outfitters"Dunkability" Mug - Utility Design
Would love to hear from anyone else who has made the "big move" down to the capital. How did you find it? Any advice would be more than welcome! :)
Hope you've all had a lovely week!
