This week I seem to have had an extra spurt of productiveness. Definitely not complaining about that! My fiance and I did some remerchandising at the store and added a few new fun fixtures and racks. I’m looking to add a couple more interesting display elements, and I’m currently on the lookout for wooden pallets, crates and a vintage ladder to make this vision I have in my brain come to life. I’ve got a lead on a vintage ladder, so fingers crossed it comes through! I also managed to get in some spring shopping for myself.
I honestly never have time to shop these days unless I’m online shopping or buying something out of my own store. The store’s internet went down one day this week and we weren’t able to process transactions – so since I had a break I stopped in H&M to pick up a few things. I managed to scoop up a couple of sundresses, shorts and some easy tops that’ll pair well with some fun spring and summer pieces I already own. This weekend is French Quarter Festival here in New Orleans – I probably won’t be able to make it out but I’m looking forward to a beautiful weekend with great weather! The past couple of weekends it has done nothing but rain, so 70′s and sunshine sound terrific! Check out a few of my favorite links from around the web this week below and have a great weekend!
Wear with everything. My fab blogger pal Joanne of Fabulously Average cooked up a little post showcasing 16, yes 16! different ways to style Converse sneakers. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Consider that post bookmarked for future reference!
Festival style. Festival season is officially amongst us my friends. Living in a city that has a ton of festivals all Spring and Summer long, I totally get how important festival prep can be! This festival style guide has sooo many cute pieces, and all under $100!
Major style inspo. Zara never ceases to amaze me with their lookbooks. The one released this week is no exception. Super, super chic spring style inspiration!
Girly meets edgy. I happened to stumble across this pair of earrings while browsing the web one day. Perfect mix of ladylike and edge, and has just the right amount of interest that I look for while shopping.
