Happy Accidents have shared new single ‘Dog Day’ ahead of the release of new album ‘Edit Undo’ on 27 September via Alcopop! Records.
Co-written with Phoebe Cross’s cheerbleederz bandmate Sophie MacKenzie, ‘Dog Day’ finds the band in somber and reflective mood as they discuss the changing of the seasons and how it feels to believe you’re past your prime.
Against a twinkly emo backdrop there are references to fighting inner demons and other people’s less-than-savoury views while your passions are taken away: ‘Anarchist bookshops are all boarded up now, think I know the reason why. Everyone’s my memory unless proven otherwise’.
