The Hangout’s annual oyster cook-off is a three-day event this year titled, the 7th annual Oyster Cook-Off and Craft Beer Weekend.

While bivalves still are taking center stage, they share it with a music lineup including rising Nashville group Steelism; coastal Americana group The Mulligan Brothers; and Willie Sugarcapps.

This Alabama Gulf Seafood event takes place Friday, Nov. 7, through Sunday, Nov. 9, at 101 E. Beach Blvd. in Gulf Shores. Admission to the cook-off is FREE so that all patrons can enjoy the atmosphere and oyster-cooking competitions. Ticket sales are available to sample the food and beverages offered.
