Hand Lettered Montague Script Bold Font by Stephen Rapp

By Debisementelli @letterheadgirl

I’m so happy to share the new, beautiful Montague Script Bold by Stephen Rapp!

And right now, until August 31, it’s 50% off!!

I’ve had the recent pleasure of co-teaching an “Expressive Brush” workshop with Stephen

at TypeCon 2014 in D.C.

(TypeCon is a typography conference hosted by the Society of Type Aficionados)

I don’t know who was more mesmerized watching his brush demonstrations, the attendees or me!

If you live in the Louisville area, you’re in luck!

He and Charles Borges de Oliveira are teaching a workshop Oct. 11-12.

There may still be a few seats open.

Montague Script Bold is a beefed up version of the

2009 Type Directors Club Award winning Montague Script.

The added weight makes it more ideal for display purposes like book titling, packaging, and headlines.

Having its origin in fine sable brush lettering done on smooth vellum paper,

both versions are ideal for greeting card and invitation text.

Like the original award winning version,

it features an energetic rhythm with loads of swashes and ligatures.

There are beginning, ending, and alternate versions for almost every letter.

I know how much invitation designers appreciate all those choices.

I think it would look lovely on a wedding or shower invitation.

It truly is a shining star!

To take a closer look , check it out here.

Grab it while it’s 50% off until August 31!!!
