Last week, I wrote my 8th installment in my continuing series that attempts to explain Brexit to myself (and other Americans). Gaele reviewed the third book in the Seashell Cove series, this one with a holiday theme, The Christmas Café at Seashell Cove. She also reviewed Cottage on a Cornish Cliff, about Cornwall, local art, and complicated relationships.
Hamilton, the musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda, has been playing at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London since late last year. So, this isn't news. But Miranda talked about the differences in British and American audiences of the show on his appearance on Stephen Colbert's show last week, so I thought I'd gather up some things from the last year about how Hamilton is doing in London.

Since this is about as close as I get to a political post, I have a question for those of you who live in the US: what is your plan for getting to the polls on November 6? Studies show that people with a plan are much more likely to vote. My plan is to drive over at 10:00am. I sometimes walk, but the 10-day forecast is showing rain, so I'll plan to drive and it will be a bonus if I get to walk.
