Halloween Teeth Cookies

By Tejal Hewitt @Tejal_x

More fun post Halloween blog post on making some rather delicious but interesting bakes. Halloween teeth in the form of a cookie with marshmallows and red frosting. I decided to go for a chocolate chip cookie base, which worked really well.

Trying to get creative with baking can be hard work. Quiet often I see picture on Instagram which gives me great ideas but no recipe and to know where to start. This was definitely one of those occasions - where a picture took my fancy and then trying to re-create with nothing but a blank canvas.

I wish I had better organized and able to post this before Halloween, but life has been so hectic! Maybe a planted seed for next year?

Ingredients
1 Egg
300g Plain Flour
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda

1 Tsp Vanilla
125g Butter
Mini Marshmallows
150g Icing Sugar

Add the flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chunks to the mixture.

Mix well on low speed until a cookie dough forms.

Scoop a rounded tablespoon size dollop on to a greased baking sheet and bake for 11 minutes at 170c

Once the cookies are baked and cool, slice in half.

Mix together the 25g of butter soften, icing sugar, red food colouring and milk until a cream frosting.

Spread the frosting over top of one half of the cookie and the bottom of the other half of the cookie.
