[Guest Post] York Avenue // Springtime in New York

By Erika Brechtel @smallshopstudio

I’ve been planning a trip to NYC in May, so Jackie’s post could not have come at a better time! Over on her blog York Avenue, you’ll not only discover bits of the Manhattan life, but new finds for your home, your closet, your bookshelf, and your tummy….mmmm. Such a lovely, well-rounded page that will no doubt give you a daily delight!

Hi, this is Jackie from York Avenue, and I’m so excited to be posting here on Small Shop! In honor of the recent first day of spring and the wonderfully mild weather we’ve been enjoying here in NYC, I thought I would share some of the things I’m looking forward to about this lovely season!

Sidewalk dining at charming little spots like Tartine in the West Village:

Springtime in Central Park as everything bursts into bloom:

Wearing pretty springtime dresses:

Refreshing spring showers! As long as I have a charming umbrella and killer trench:

Spring cleaning my tiny space, using bright, white, airy interiors as inspiration:

And when I need a break from the urban scene, there are beautiful places to escape to-been DYING to visit the Brooklyn Botanic Garden:

Thanks again to Erika for having me over today! What are you all looking forward to about springtime in your area?
