[Guest Post] Sukio Runway to Home

By Erika Brechtel @smallshopstudio

Please welcome Desire of sukio!

You are in for a major treat. Desire’s outrageously gorgeous interiors blog, sukio, was one of my very first and favorite reads, and to this day never fails to satisfy my need for the glam. I’m hooked! So thrilled to have her here today to give you a little taste as well. You’ll be addicted too…

I was absolutely floored upon viewing Alexander Wang’s first collection as creative director of Balenciaga! While other fashion houses opt for expansive and elaborate runways (that means you, Louis Vuitton and Chanel), Wang chose a more intimate setting – Balenciaga’s historic salon on the Avenue George V. The space was completely renovated to match the colors and textures of his clothes, with plenty of mirrors to catch every angle. From the black and white contrast to the chrome benches, I love it all!
