Hi, I’m Orla, blogger at thecoolcustomer.wordpress.com! And this is my guest post for Bex… Have you ever been totally in love with a spread you’ve seen in a magazine? Have you ever looked at that collection of photographs and thought, ‘they’ve done this especially for me’? I didn’t until a few days ago, when I picked up the latest Teen Vogue, and flicked through. I found Candy Girl, the confectionary hued, slightly graphic comic-esque main fashion feautre… The layers of sweet pastel colours, the lilac hair flicked up like a still in a superhero comic, the chunky, sci fi looking boots that challenged the frothy, ladylike girlyness of the whole thing, and the seriously distinctive hand embellished headphones by Jie Lie (My Little Ponies, mini robbots and dice are visible among the general sparkle)…I immediatley ripped the pages out of the magazine and blu tacked them onto my wall of inspiration and appreciation. Styled by Tony Irvine, and photographed by Jason Kibbler, THIS is my lookbook for S/S 2013! Layers of ice cream dresses and Doc Martens here I come!xxx
